Description Vrijdag 26 sept, nog twee dagen te gaan voordat de terugreis begint. Kennis gemaakt met onze achterbuurvrouw, dus ten Oosten van ons. Ik heb nu twee verhalen gehoord, de ene dat ze iets van 78 jaar of ouder is en de moeder van onze buurman ten zuiden van ons, en dus de grootmoeder van degene van wie we de grond gekocht hebben. Ook woont er nog een zoon bij haar. Iemand anders vertelde dat ze over de 120 jaar oud zou zijn, en dan zou ze overgrootmoeder moeten zijn. Dat laatste lijkt me onwaarschijnlijk, mijn eigen Oma van 95 is volgens mij een stuk ouder dan zij is, maar ik kan het mis hebben natuurlijk, want er zijn meer verhalen dat bewoners van Vilcabamba, vlakbij waar wij wonen, ruim over de 100 jaar oud worden. In ieder geval was het leuk kennis met haar te maken! Ook een paar foto's van het adobe huisje van 40 jaar oud. Een hoek staat net niet op onze grond, we krijgen een offerte hoeveel het gaat kosten om die er af te halen en er minimalistisch te kunnen wonen voor eventuele gasten die bij ons gaan verblijven. Als eerste wat minimaal nodig is om er een week of twee te kunnen logeren, als tweede met eigen toilet en douche en wastafel, en als derde iets 'luxueuzer', zoals met een beter dak met een plafond en een cementen in plaats van een aarden vloer en ingang.
