Description Zondagmiddag naar de markt geweest. Die is er alle dagen, maar omdat veel mensen in Ecuador (minstens) 6 dagen werken is de markt van zondag altijd behoorlijk druk. Deze markt heeft vooral voedsel, zoals groente en fruit en vlees, en alles in overvloed. Wanneer wij er zijn, in de middag, is er al veel verkocht. Ook zijn er eieren, o.a. bij de indianen buiten het marktterrein, dat zijn de eieren met de lekkerste smaak. Ergens in Loja is ook een supermaxi, het bekendste warenhuis in Ecuador, waar ze ook kleding en elektronica en witgoed verkopen, en een ander warenhuis in het centrum, waar de famiie naar toegaat voor brood e.d. Dus meestal is het twee plekken bezoeken eens per week voor alle boodschappen. Ook in Vilcabamba en Malacatos is een markt, en zal alles wat op de markt in Loja te koop is ook zijn, alleen natuurlijk niet in die hoeveelheden. De foto's hebben allemaal een gps aanduiding van het centrum van Loja, omdat ik vergeten ben een peiling van de markt te doen. Toekomstplannen: Maandagochtend nog maar ongeveer 75 emails verwerken van de ruim 350 die ik sinds ik in Ecuador ben heb ontvangen, plus een paar die ik in Nederland nog niet had afgehandeld. Eind van de middag heb ik mijn eerste Spaanse les. Dinsdag verwacht ik ook Spaanse les te hebben, als de eerste me goed bevalt. Verder een paar boodschappen in Loja doen. Internetcafe bezoeken voor de laatste emails. Bellen naar Luis in Vilcabamba en misschien ook naar die bij Malacatas hoort maar deze maand in Engeland zit. Trouwens, afgelopen nacht eindelijk weer een nachtrust van voldoende lengte gehad. Woensdag met de bus naar Vilcabamba, de vergadering is dan waarschijnlijk om 17.00 uur, daarvoor en/of daarna en op donderdag 'alle' huizen bekijken die ondertussen gevonden zijn, en donderdagavond 17.30 naar de zaal in Malacatas en dan slapen bij Manuel en vrijdagochtend 7.30 met hem terug naar Loja. Voor vrijdag wil ik alvast een Spaanse les afspreken. En dan zijn er zo goed als drie weken voorbij... Oh ja, nog een opmerking, zonder auto gaat het niet lukken. In beide plaatsen is er zeer waarschijnlijk niets dicht genoeg bij de zaal of zelfs de stadjes zelf om lopend alles te kunnen doen.
